Friday Night Jazz may be moving back to the Old Farmers Market in 2026 !! Keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned...

Regardless, the fun continues as Jazz on Wheels enters our 25th season of fun and FREE JAZZ And we're just getting warmed up!!

Jazz on Wheels is a non-profit mobile concert series founded in 2002 by Pat Cronley to fill part of the void left by diminishing cultural and arts opportunities in Flint schools. Over those years we have branched out to serve community events such as water distribution sites, resource centers, health expos, civic pride marches, Faith Formation events and the like. JOW provides a soundtrack for these events, making a good thing even better. We operate on a donation basis, no charge for appropriate community oriented events, and will continue to do so as long as the truck keeps rolling!

"Over 20 Years of Continuous Service to our Community "

Pierce Park Nature Reserve and their team were very gracious to us in 2025.  It's a fabulous spot for events and we enjoyed presenting the Friday Night Jazz series there.

But then came the news that we may be welcome to return to the Old Farmers Market, which was a very pleasant surprise. The property was reimagined in 2025 into a grassy lot which will be even better for hosting public events. Burnash Demolition did an amazing job of recreating the property, smooth, level, accessible and beautiful!

We're working hard to return, but again, Friday Night Jazz will continue  somewhere regardless. Jazz on Wheels will also host other events as always.  We're brainstorming the return of Gospel Fest Flint which was held years ago  at Mott Park. I'm sure some of you remember that annual Sunday afternoon  blowout! It's time to revive that memory.
We hope to see everyone this summer.
