Jazz on Wheels is a non-profit mobile concert series founded in 2002 by Pat Cronley to fill part of the void left by diminishing cultural and arts opportunities in Flint schools. Over those years we have branched out to serve community events such as water distribution sites, resource centers, health expos, civic pride marches, Faith Formation events and the like. JOW provides a soundtrack for these events, making a good thing even better. We operate on a donation basis, no charge for appropriate community oriented events, and will continue to do so as long as the truck keeps rolling!

"Over 20 Years of Continuous Service to our Community "

2024 promises to be our best year yet.  Thanks to the Mortimer and Mimi Levitt Foundation we will be continuing our Levitt AMP Concert Series this summer. 10 free concerts featuring performers from around the country and beyond. It all happens on the Kelly Brisbin Memorial Stage behind Totem Books in Flint.

2023 was our kickoff season of this new series. We had a great time, made new friends and gained insight on how to improve the series moving forward. 2024 will be something you do not want to miss !
We are in contact with groups from Sierra Leone, Colombia, Peru, Ukraine and Australia. Flint will be an International Music Mecca this summer! Please join us on Facebook for up-to-date details.

JOW will also be conducting business as usual this summer. Water Crisis Commemoration, Civic Pride March, Stand for Veterans, Health Expos, Anti-Violence Rally, Neighborhood Clean-Up Day, The Crim Race, Flint
Celebrates International Jazz Day are just some of the civic minded events we partner with. Deploying the Jazz Mobile wherever we are needed.

And of course, the ever-popular Friday Night Jazz at the Old Farmers Market. Just as soon as the weather allows, we'll be back. 5:30-7:30PM as always. Hope to see YOU soon!

Our Levitt AMP Flint stage is now renamed, The Kelly Brisbin Memorial Stage In honor of our friend Kelly, who was master builder Ray Sinclair's right-hand man during the construction of the stage in the spring of 2023.
